SXSW 2012
Version 2 Blog (Aug 18 2011) Social Media Trends
-
Planning for SXSW 2012 is already well underway and voting is now open to select this year’s sessions. We’re excited to share Version 2.0’s proposed session, “PR and Social Media -- A Love Story,” exploring how PR and social media can and should coexist and collaborate to build brand value and establish and engage communities.
If you like the idea and want to see it on stage in March (and we hope you do!), then please vote for us. The process is simple:
· Create an account if you don’t already have one; you can do that here: http://panelpicker.sxsw.com/users/register
· Once you have an account, sign in here: http://panelpicker.sxsw.com/users/login?return=%2Fstars%2Fupdate%2F13475%2F1
· Then, you can either do a manual search for “Version 2.0 Communications” or just click HERE for V2’s panel
· Click on the Thumbs Up icon to cast your vote!
Also, be sure to check out “Overthrow the King! Democratizing Marketing’s 3C's,” from our client, HiveFire. Their session at last year’s SXSW debating brands’ roles as publishers was a hit—drawing a standing room only crowd on a Saturday morning at South-By!—and we know they won’t let anyone this year, either.
We hope to see you in Austin!
